Allison Brooks Janney is an American actor born on November 19 1959. Over the course of her over three decades, Allison Janney has earned acclaim for her stage and film performances. Janney was awarded numerous prizes, including her Academy Award and British Academy Film Award. She also received the seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Two Tony Awards were nominated. Janney came from Boston and grew up near Dayton near Dayton, Ohio. She received a scholarship to study in The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art after she graduated from Kenyon College. Janney was first seen on TV on television in the year 1999. She performed the role of C. J. Cregg as part of NBC's political program The West Wing from 1999-2006 and was awarded 4 Primetime Emmy Awards. Janney was awarded an award called the Primetime Emmy Award for 2014 Outstanding Guest actor in an Drama Series following her role in the role of Margaret Scully on the Showtime series Masters of Sex. Janney was awarded two Outstanding Supporting Actress Awards for Comedy Shows and was awarded six times by Primetime Emmy Awards.
