Belcalis Almanzar, a rapper singer, songwriter and actress born on 11 October 1992. The actress was born in New York City, United States. Cardi B, her stage name, is the child of Dominican parents and a Trinidadian mother. During her childhood and adolescence she lived in one of the most deprived neighborhoods located in the Bronx. It was where she belonged to several street gangs which caused her to go through a rough life. She had a boy with whom she was in the gang, with whom she shared a home for a time and was constantly assaulted by the gang member. The school she attended was Musical Theater and Technology High school. For her to support her family, she worked in a shop as a clerk. However, at 19 years old, she decided to become a professional stripper. For her to appear better-looking and also earn more it was necessary to have cosmetic surgery in order to improve her buttocks and breasts. Cardi planned to obtain a bachelor's degree but dropped out due the lack of time. In 2013, Cardi began her journey as a social media celebrity, particularly on Vine. Her profile became quite popular.
