Michele Carey, the daughter of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr, the physician, and Thelma Henson, the housewife who was born Michele Lee Henson on February 26th, 1942, at Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America. She was a piano prodigy in her teens and won the national competition at the Chicago Music Festival at just 13 years old. In Fort Collins, Colorado she moved in with her family. She completed the schooling at Fort Collins High School and was graduated in 1960. In terms of her professional career, she relocated in Los Angeles to seek better possibilities.
