Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actress who is most well-known for her character Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. The daughter of Peter an academic, and Ilkay Silk who is a renowned actor, director, producer, playwright and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of the earliest moments of her childhood, like watching and participating in rehearsals of plays. Silk created a variety of commercials when she was still in the midst of her childhood. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two early shows: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto and moved to Los Angeles during the years following 1999. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she met during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors workshop. The couple got engaged in 2009 and married in a civil ceremony in the month of December in that same year. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows in the Jewish ceremony in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th, 2013. Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th May, 2016. Silk's TV work has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. Silk was cast in the lead role as Bo Dennis, a succubus as seen in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while shooting the final season of the third series. Silk announced her pregnancy to fans during her Showcase Season Three pre-show special of the 6th of January, 2013. Silk was working on Lost Girl since the season's third finale episode premiered on the 6th of January, 2013. She announced via Twitter her readiness to return on June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on the fourth. CNN recognized Bo's performance alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about television couples of all time. E! voted it the top couple on TV of the year 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is the result, and its prominence on social media has gained a significant internet following.
